Squash Court Booking Rules
- Members can book courts 14 days prior from 1 pm. In other words, a new "booking sheet" is automatically added to the system 14 days prior at 1 pm.
- Members should select their opponent's name to show on the booking sheets.
- Booking system accounts:
- Each member has an account within the booking system
- Members must have sufficient credit to book a court
- Members can credit ("top-up") their accounts as follows.
- When logged into the booking system website, click "Buy Credit Online" and follow the instructions to pay with any debit/credit card. The transaction will be processed by PayPal, you do not need to register a PayPal account in order to complete the transaction.
- Alternatively, you can purchase a £5 "top-up" voucher from the bar, and use the touch-screen kiosk system upstairs in the bar area to apply the top-up voucher to your account. Please note you will need to know your PIN to use the touch screen.
- Court Fees
- 20p per booking.
- Light meters @ £4 per 40mins.
- Late-Cancellation policy:
- When unable to use a reserved court, members should cancel as soon as possible so that the court may be used by other members.
- The booking fee is automatically refunded when cancelled more than 2 days (48 hours) prior to start time.
- When cancelled within 2 days (48 hours) prior to start time:
- No charge on the first occasion.
- £1.00 "late-cancellation" fee on all subsequent occasions.
- The late-cancellation fee is automatically refunded as soon as the same court is re-booked.
- Check-in / No-Show policy:
- The member who booked the court is required to check-in to confirm court usage within 1 hour prior to the reserved start time (or within an hour after playing).
- The "selected opponents" for the booking can also check-in to confirm court usage.
- The system will automatically assume a "no-show" if the member who booked the court fails to check-in.
- The system sends an email notification at 10am on the day following the no-show with instructions on how to check-in the next time.
- On the first occasion, there is no charge for the no-show.
- On subsequent occasions, the system will automatically charge a £2 no-show penalty to the member's booking system account.
- Members with outstanding late-cancellation or no-show charges will need to top-up their booking system accounts prior to booking more courts.
