Good Afternoon to All MSC members

Internal Club Competition

On Sunday December 8th @ 12.30pm The club will be hosting a mini “closed” squash competition where 16 MSC players of mixed abilities will be playing up to 4 games of squash during the afternoon to find a outright winner for our club players with a squash level of 1400 points or below.

The club supports and wishes Vaughan Hill who has organised this competition every success on Sunday and hopes that all the players have great afternoon of competitive squash.

If this competition proves a success, then it is hope that it can be expanded in 2025 to accommodate even more MSC players that have higher squash levels.

Could all members please check that they have the correct contact details on their personal club profile, you can access this via your my courts app, select menu, scroll down to your settings, and then email preferences, changes can then be made.

Door Entry Fob / 2024-25 Car parking permits

The transition from push button code to electronic fob entry is now active and seems that the change over last Sunday has be very successful with just 2 known issues reported these being rectified the same day, long may that continue.

There are still 14 members that have not collected their fobs and parking permits, these are available from the bar as and when its open, best days are Tuesday night (team matches) and club night (Friday) without the fob you will not be able to gain entry into the club.

I will publish a list of the members to remind them that have not collected their fob in a private newsletter at a later date.

Friday night is club night

Courts available from 5.20pm continuing until late, just turn up, Play and Socialise with other likeminded club players.

There will be a 8-minute time limited to each pair of players on court, straight into warming up and then playing with no limit on where the score ends up, once the 8 minutes has been reached the alarm will sound and the next 2 players can go on court to play their 8 minutes.

A £2 light fee will be charged for all players attending regardless of how many games they play
