Hi Everyone,
following on from my last email regarding the Box Leagues, I am happy to say that we had a number of replies from members who want to play, therefore the new league is now live. Just log onto our online system, and click on 'Leagues'.
I would also like to thank those of you who also replied to say that you were unable to participate.
As you will see, there are 3 'Boxes' each with 4 players, which means each player will have 3 matches to complete by 31st July. (The next Box will start on August 1st). Please, please, please do your very best to play all your matches, that is the only way we can build a successful ongoing Box League for our club .
The scoring has been simplified... you get one point for each game you win . Each match will consist of 5 games, (not 'best of 5'). Once you have completed your match, enter your score on the sheet that will be on the Notice board outside the 2 courts, and also enter it on the online system.
Just go onto the online system, click on 'Leagues' and then click on 'Submit your league match result(s)'.
The winner of each box will win a new squash ball, (assuming the winner has played all their matches)
