Good Morning Members

Water Ingres / Roof Repairs

Due to the recent high winds and monsoon weather conditions, we have experienced some water ingress into the club, and is very noticeable in the right-hand corner of court 1 and the left-hand corner of court 2 which following our major refurbishment of the courts earlier in the year is of great concern. I would like to thank all the members that have brought this problem to out attention and rest assured it is being delt with as quickly as possible. All gutters and down pipes have already been inspected and cleared of any debris over the last couple of days to hopefully eliminate the immediate issues. However, during the inspections that have been carried out, several more pressing issues have been identified that will require professional attention over the coming months, this should not have any effect on using the club facilities while we arrange for the remedial work on our “Loved Old Building” to be carried out. …………..Bless her she is 91 years old.

More information will be communicated to all members as and when this essential work will take place.

Club Membership Renewal Now Due

Your Membership is now Overdue, please see the many previous emails about your membership renewal and how to pay, all members that have not paid the membership by the 30th November will have their key fob “Disabled” until such time that your membership fee has been Paid, Received and Processed accordingly.

Car Parking Permits 2026/27

Are now available from the bar area to all members that have renewed their membership, failure to display a valid 2026/27 car permit may result in you receiving a PCN

Car Parking

As we seem to have more and more players being on court during the lunch time this has a knock-on effect in the car park, as we still have members that do not abide to our 3 very simple carparking rules and are generally the same members that whinge and moan when they can’t park themselves due to inconsiderate parking

All cones should be replaced to the front of the carparking bay once you have parked and when you leave

Cars should first use the parking bays closest to the club first so as to maximise all our carparking bays

A valid 2026/27 permit must be displayed showing your name in the windscreen at all times (not folded in half) when using the club carpark

Box Leagues

The box leagues are now live and your matches can be viewed online or as posted on the notice board, games to be played by the 29th November 2026, please make sure that

you enter your score to either the paper scoresheet or the online mycourts booking site

Friday Night Club Night

Club Night has returned to its normal schedule of every Friday from 5-20pm, look forward to seeing you all this week,

Food Returns this week with the old favourite “Sausage Baguette and Chips”
