Racket ball Club Night
There will be another club night for all Racket Ball Players and Members that want to give Racket Ball go, this Thursday 16th Feb from 7pm. Run the same as the squash club night where a £2 light fee will be charged to ALL players playing, we hope that even more regular players and new to Racket Ball players turn up so that we can get a good social vibe going to promote Racket Ball within the Club. We have spare rackets behind the bar that can be used during Club Night so there is no excuse for not giving it a go and having a very enjoyable evening. We also have 4 Chicken Curry (spicy/hot) meals (£6 + any drink of your choice) available on a first come first serve basis.

Friday Night is Club Night
As usual we will be running our Squash club night for any members or prospective members to play squash against other club members. A £2 light fee will be charged for players attending
Food this week will be “Bang Bang Sausage” a fusion of Asian street food meets Chatham Mouthy Chef. £6+ any drink

Squash Box Leagues
With the continued growth of the squash box leagues it is clear that all our members are chopping at the bit to get their games played, and to remind all of those that have not played any yet the end of the 1st section of games is just 14 days away…….so get on the phone, send a text, send a email to get the games arranged as come the end of the month that 2 players will go down and two players will be promoted on a games played, points scored basis ……! So get contacting the other players in your league

Contactless payments
We are now totally contactless with payments at the Bar, so you can pay for your club night light fee, Bar tab, food and snacks via your debit or credit card as no cash will be accepted, we will have a small amount of £1 coins available for the light meters

Light Meters
As mentioned before the card payment light meters are being look at and will only be implemented once the right deal can be secured that is beneficial to the members and Club not the meter supplier as is the case at the moment

Events coming up
“Dine with a Veteran” a 3-course meal and musical entertainment by “3 Bows” for £30 per head, Tuesday 7th March @ Frederic’s (Maidstone) see poster around the club and previous dedicated email

AGM
The club will hold its annual AGM in the coming couple of months (date to be confirmed at the next committee meeting) and I hope with enough notice we can get as many of the Club Members to attend, to have their say on how the club is run and how they would like to see the club run going forward into 2023/24
