Good Afternoon All Members

Court 1

We have been given the all clear to use Court 1 again, a visual inspection has been completed and court 1 is now available to use, they maybe some minor repairs required but these will be carried out during the early part of the day when the courts are not being used

Anyone that has incurred “no show fines” for their court 1 bookings over the past few days will get a full refund.

Men’s Shower

Good news, following a temporary repair we can start using the shower room with immediate effect, please be aware that we will be having the floor renewed very soon and it maybe required that we close the showers whilst this work takes place.

MSC inconsiderate parking (again)

We have yet again had a club member blocked in by another club member that “just went shopping” that failed to display a return time and current contact telephone number that they could be contacted on if the car needed to be moved so that the person blocked in can get out.

If any member has no other option other than block another member in while they either use the club facility’s or go shopping, please be a lot more considerate by placing a contact number and a time you are likely to return on your dash board so that this situation does not happen in the future.

Quiz Night

The Club will be holding a Quiz night on Saturday November 11th We need 8-9 teams of 6 people per team. We have 5 teams registered already, you don’t need to have a full team of 6 as we will “team up” individuals, couples, foursomes on the night. So please register your interest with me (Hurty) either when at the club or via my email address and telephone number at the bottom of the page. Non club members are more than welcome as long as they are guests of a MSC member

MSC Box Squash Leagues

Due to court 1 being unavailable for the last week or so I have made the decision to extend the closing date that box games need to be finished by, the new date that all box games need to be completed by is Tuesday October 31st

Membership Subscription Renewal 2023-24 is now due
Maidstone Squash Club continues to be the best value for money club in the county and even though we are all experiencing difficult times due to the increase of the cost of living, we are pleased to be able to hold subscriptions at the same level for this year.

Friday Night is Club Night

As usual the club night will start at 5.30pm until late playing a quick-fire game of first to 15 (American scoring) then rotating against other club players. A £2 light fee will be charged for all players attending

We will also be showing on the small screen the Rugby World Cup semi final Game

All Blacks (NZ) V The Pumas (Arg) 8pm kick off

Following on from last week’s soft introduction of Spicy Bean Burgers, Chips and Sausage Baguettes the mouthy chef will continue this week with much of the same hoping to add chicken goujons and cheesy chips.
