Membership renewal 2018/19

Dear Member

Maidstone Squash Club has always been and will remain the best value for money club in the county town of Kent. Having held the annual subscription steady last year there is now pressure on our costs and it has been necessary for the Committee to make an adjustment to the annual subscription for the coming year. The most significant factor is the increase in our Club affiliation to England Squash which has risen by £5 per adult over the last two years to £12.50 per adult for 2018/19. There has also been a similar rise for juniors to £10 per junior. The Club must pay this membership whether members choose to be individually affiliated to England Squash or not. However there are benefits to being individually affiliated which you may want to consider and this will be the subject of another broadcast message.

The new membership fees are detailed below:

Existing Members - £115.00 (if paid by 31/10/18); £125.00 (if paid by 30/11/18)

Student Members (18 - 21 in full time Education) - £40.00 (if paid by 31/10/18); £45.00 (if paid by 30/11/18)

Junior Members 12 - 17 in full time Education - £25.00 (if paid by 31/10/18); £30.00 (if paid by 30/11/18)

Children under the age of 12 are covered by their parent/parents membership, however they may not book courts or play at peak times.

Membership will automatically lapse if subscriptions are not paid by 30th November 2018 and you will be unable to book courts.

Please make payment from 1st October:

- ideally by internet banking, bank details: Maidstone Squash Club, sort code: 403106, account number: 11586475, remembering to put your name as the reference, and sending an email confirmation to membership@maidstonesquashclub.com

- or by cheque (payable to Maidstone Squash Club) and leave in an envelope in the pigeon hole on the landing addressed to Gary Fincham, Membership Secretary.

Please pick up your new Car Parking permit at the Club Bar in due course.
