Hi Everyone,
With just 2 weeks to go in the current box league (the 4th of 6 this year), I would like to encourage you all to do your best to complete all your matches by the 14th August. Obviously, it is healthier for the club if all games are played and this also adds more fairness to the whole box league scoring system.
Brendan Touhey MBE
I would like to wish Brendan Touhey MBE a speedy recovery after being injured during a recent charity event. As you may already know Brendan is leading the yearly standings, and I hope he is able to return as soon as possible to defend the trophy he won last year.
Darren Trebble
Darren Trebble was recently elected as the 'Competition Secretary' for our club, so I have asked him if he would like to take over the running of the Box Leagues, Darren said "Yes".
Therefore from the end of the current league on 14th August, Darren will be the person organising the leagues so if you have any questions he will be pleased to help. I will let him know about the 2 additional players who want to be included in the leagues.
So just to repeat myself, please contact all the players in your box to arrange any matches not yet conducted. Remember, everyone has entered the league because they want to play matches so give them a call or a text, and arrange your game.
