Club Championship - 2 Weeks to go!!!

Hi Everyone,

We have just 2 weeks to our Squash Championship for 2108, (taking place on the 22nd September). We have our 16 players, and I’m looking forward to many competitive matches culminating in the Club Champion being recognised.

We have a number of prizes for the players, next week I will email out the details of those prizes so you will all know what you are playing for.

There will be 3 rounds, everyone will play 3 matches, and everyone will play in their own personal final against a player of similar ability.

The competition begins at 1 pm , so players will need to get there in time to warm up and prepare for their first match. On the 21st September, (the day before the competition), I will email you the order of play for the first round so you will know who is playing first.

I anticipate the finals will begin around 3.30pm, with the Club Championship Final being played around 4.30pm.

We will then have the awards of prizes and the presentation in the bar straight after the final is completed. I hope all players will stay for the awards presentation.

Bring your family & friends to support you, to support the club, and to watch some exciting games between many of our top players. The bar will be open and they will be serving food. Let's make this an event with good spirited competition, a good atmosphere, and 16 satisfied players who participated in this event watched by supporters who also enjoy themselves.

This competition will be a great chance for many of us to meet more club members, to meet the committee, and to see our top players in action.

This is your competition , let's get as much support for it as we can.
