“Burn what you Bring” B-B-Q

We are trying something a little different this Friday (21st) as there is no club night this week a few of our members that where lurking about in the area front of the club cooling off with a few too many cold beers suggested that we should hold a B-B-Q this Friday with a theme of “Burn what you Bring” B-B-Q

So I thought let’s give it a go and see if we can get a bit of late summer social scene back to the squash club, if this is well supported then we will certainly look at doing it more often in the future

The Club will supply the B-B-Q complete with white hot embers, B-B-Q Cooking Utensils, Plates, Knapkins, Knives, Forks and Sauces (ketchup, chilli sauces etc) Tables, Chairs (or just sit on the wall as in previous weeks) and of course my rubbish Music playing in the background , You never know Mr Phil Gamwell B-B-Q renowned chef, might just turn up and do all the cooking for you if we ply him with enough giggle juice.

You the members if you want to eat you just need to bring yourself and the food that you want to “Burn” on the B-B-Q prior to consuming.

The bar will be open throughout the afternoon from about 3.30pm until late with the B-B-Q being fired up about 5-30pm ready for the first food cremation at 6pm (ish) this is not weather dependant as it will happen, Rain (it hasn’t done that for 4 months) or Shine (we are getting bored of that too) So grab your food and come down for a FLASH “Burn what you Bring”
