Squash Box Leagues
Would like to thank all the players that have completed their games this month and to remind you all to make sure that your score has be logged either on the web site or the league sheets opposite the booking in screen, i will be taking the sheets down tonight.
If there are any members that are not in the box leagues and would like to join please drop me a email so that I can add you to next month’s squash boxes, don't forget it will be a 2 up, 2 down system and I will be reducing the size of the boxes to 5 players in each box, this will generate a Box 5 and give all players approximately 5 weeks to play 4 Box games.
The new box leagues will be published in due course

Friday Night is Club Night
As usual we will be running our Squash club night for any members or prospective members to play a quick-fire game of first to 15 (American scoring) then rotating against other club members. A £2 light fee will be charged for players attending.

Food this week will be “Bacon and Chorizo Spiral pasta with a cheese topping and side of garlic bread” or “ 5 Bean Chilli with brown rice” (meat free)

Racket ball Club Night
Give Racket Ball go, this Thursday 2nd march from 7pm. I will be discussing the start time with other members to see if we can make the start time earlier in the evening with the view that it will generate more interest to more of our members.
Run the same as the squash club night where a £2 light fee will be charged to ALL players playing, we hope that even more regular players and new to Racket Ball players turn up so that we can get a good social vibe going to promote Racket Ball within the Club. We have spare rackets behind the bar that can be used during Club Night so there is no excuse for not giving it a go and having a very enjoyable evening.

Contactless payments
We are now totally contactless with payments at the Bar, so you can pay for your club night light fee, Bar tab, food and snacks via your debit or credit card as no cash will be accepted.

AGM
The club will hold its annual AGM in the coming couple of months (date to be confirmed at the next committee meeting) and I hope with enough notice we can get as many of the Club Members to attend, to have their say on how the club is run and how they would like to see the club run going forward into 2023/24
