Welcome to this week’s news letter

MSC box squash leagues

The new leagues are now live with hard copies being posted on the notice boards in the next few days. We have extended the time period to play your games so that school holidays and other social events that members will no doubt be attending during the summer months of July and August.

Don't forget we implement a 2 up and 2 down process i.e.…… the bottom 2 players in League 1 will drop to league 2, The top 2 players in league 2 will go up to league 1, The bottom 2 players in league 2 will drop to league 3, etc this process will be applied across all 6 box leagues, if two players end up on the same points in a league then the player that won that match against the player with the same points will be promoted.

Games are played too 11 (eleven), if the game is 10-10 you must win by 2 (two) clear points, American scoring best of 5 games (or first to 3)

Friday Night is Club Night

As usual the club night will start at 5.30pm until late playing a quick-fire game of first to 15 (American scoring) then rotating against other club players. A £2 light fee will be charged for all players attending

Food this week will be

“5 Bean Chilli + Rice + Tortilla wrap”

“Cheese and Potato topped Quorn Mince + Vegetable Pie” (only 2 available) it might also get the cheese this week

Team Squash Match

MSC played host to Bexley 5 squash team last night (4th) , with just 2 points separating the two teams in the league it promised to be a close and hard fought match. All the matches certainly lived up to the expectations, with 4 very evenly matched games, Bexley 5 come out top eventually winning 9 games to 8

Not receiving Email Newsletters?

  • Login and check you email address is correct.
  • Contact Us if you changed your email address.
  • Check you spam/junk folders (and mark the message as "not spam/junk" if you find it there).
  • Add "maidstonesquashclub@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk" to your Contacts list or email address book.
  • Contact your email service provider and ask them why you're not receiving messages sent from maidstonesquashclub@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk.

Hotmail/Outlook Users

  • Login to your Hotmail/Outlook account.
  • Click Settings > View all Outlook settings > Junk Email
  • Add "mycourts.co.uk" and "no-reply.mycourts.co.uk" to your Safe Senders and domains.

GMail Users

  • Go to Gmail Settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses. If "Maidstone Squash Club <maidstonesquashclub@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk>" appears in the list of blocked addresses, select "Maidstone Squash Club <maidstonesquashclub@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk>" and click "unblock selected addresses".

Other email service providers may have similar settings -- please follow their instructions. If not, contact their support desk and request delivery of messages from maidstonesquashclub@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk.
