Box league update 31-1-23
Hi Everyone,
The Maidstone Squash Box Leagues 2023 went live last week with even more players entered, spread over 4 boxes this month, with a number of quality new players we have attracted, this year looks like being even more completive than ever with more still to be added next time around and if you are not in the box leagues and want to be, please let me know.
There is one small but significant change to last year’s box rules that I would like to make you all aware of and that is:
We will be implementing a 2 up and 2 down process i.e…… the bottom 2 players in League 1 will drop to league 2, The top 2 players in league 2 will go up to league 1, The bottom 2 players in league 2 will drop to league 3, etc this process will be applied across all 4 box leagues.
We have had a number of new members join our club over the last couple of weeks and I hope that they will also join the box leagues in the very near future
Members Please Note It has been noted that other than “club night” people are still parking in the front bays (Saturday to Thursday) blocking the empty rear ones. Could I remind you all to use the bays nearest to the club first and then use the front bays. If you are just using the parking bays to do a bit of shopping you MUST use the back bays so as not to block in other members that should be in the club playing.
