Good Morning

MATS (mixed ability team squash)

On Thursday 20th, ten players from MSC played at Rodmersham Squash club in a Mixed Ability Team Squash match. The format is 11 1/2 minutes, a 2 minute break, followed by another 11 1/2 minutes. The total points accrued over the 23 minutes go towards the total team score. It was an extremely tight score line with players as evenly matched as possible. After a total of 230 minutes of squash, Rodmersham won by 3 points, 246 to Maidstone’s 243.

Maidstone were represented by Graham Doherty, Harry Witt, Katie Hall, Vaughan Hill, Phil Fray, Charlie Emery, Ian Watson, Callum Hathwaite, Linzi Reynolds and Darren Trebble.

Thanks to Rodmersham squash club for hosting and we’re looking forward to a return match with a home advantage.

Quiz night

Date is Saturday 6th December, Ben Crozier is the very funny quiz master that puts a twist into this very enjoyable quiz night.

You don’t need a team of 6 players as we will integrate any-person, couple or quadruplets into a team/ table of 6 for this fantastic fun evening

Parking Permits

There are still 16 Carpark permits on the bar for the members that have renewed their membership …….. your old permit will be valid only until Sunday 30th November, but from Monday 1st of December any car – van - motorcycle displaying the old permit or no permit at all will be issued with a fine that will not be revoked, it is every members responsibility to display a valid permit clearly in the windscreen, you have been informed in many newsletters that your permit is available you now have just 5 days to display your new permit……

Friday night club night

Food this week will be chicken curry + rice

Courts available from 5.20pm continuing until late, just turn up, Play and Socialise with other likeminded club players.

There will be a 8 or 10 minute time limited to each pair of players on court, straight into warming up and then playing with no limit on where the score ends up, once the 8 or 10 minutes has been reached the alarm will sound and the next 2 players can go on court to play their 8 or 10 minutes.

A £2 light fee will be charged for all players attending regardless of how many games they play
