Good Morning Members

Cold Water Drinking Fountain

Members have requested a drinking fountain for some time now and I’m happy to inform you all that a mains water feed and cooled water fountain (dispenser) has now been purchased and will be installed in the area under the stair’s, with a expected deliver sometime in w/c 27th and hopefully will be up and running as soon as possible.

Check In Screen (update)

We have had a update from Mycourts on the little critters that keep the Coggs turning on the check in screen saying that they are not getting any younger and will need to be replaced with a much fitter and younger version in the future that will be able to look after our bookings going forward.

In the meantime, if you have a issue checking in please check in via the GPS section on your Mycourts app if you are able to do so.

Lunch Time Court Bookings

We have a few members that “Turn up and Play” at lunch times (between 11am to 1-30pm) without booking the courts (just 20p) which is fine in the main but when someone has booked a court for a specific time during their lunch break then the “turn up and Play” members must give up there courts to those that have pre-booked the courts which may mean being knocked off court and what ever time is left to run may be lost to the players that have booked that court, so if you want to play during the lunch times then book a court to avoid being disappointed or knocked off court.

Car Parking

As we seem to have more and more players being on court during the lunch time this has a knock-on effect in the car park, as we still have members that do not abide to our 3 very simple carparking rules and are generally the same members that whinge and moan when they can’t park themselves due to inconsiderate parking

All cones should be replaced to the front of the carparking bay once you have parked and when you leave

Cars should first use the parking bays closest to the club first so as to maximise all our carparking bays

A valid permit must be displayed showing your name in the windscreen at all times (not folded in half) when using the club carpark

If any Member would like to make suggestion on an event they would like to see the club hold for the good of the club and its members please let me know.
