The new box leagues go live this Friday and will run right through 2nd November, paper score sheets have be posted on the notice boards, many thanks for your continued support of the box leagues its much appreciated
Annual Australian Walk-a-Bout
Hurty is off on his holidays once again and Fridays night club night will be hosted by the following members on the dates below
26th September Linzi Reynolds
3rd October Phil Fray
10th October Phil Fray
17th October Brendan Touhey (MBE)
24th October Hurty (returns)
Many thanks to these members that are covering while I’m away, look forward to seeing you all again on the 24th October where food will be back on the menu maybe Kangaroo Burgers, Box Jelly Fish Soup, Crocodile Sandwiches and Deep Fried Red Back Spiders Legs, just a sample of the cuisine that will knock your soaks off.
Friday night club night
Courts available from 5.20pm continuing until late, just turn up, Play and Socialise with other likeminded club players.
There will be a 8 or 10 minute time limited to each pair of players on court, straight into warming up and then playing with no limit on where the score ends up, once the 8 or 10 minutes has been reached the alarm will sound and the next 2 players can go on court to play their 8 or 10 minutes.
A £2 light fee will be charged for all players attending regardless of how many games they play
