Team squash update

Good Afternoon All MSC members

Maidstone Team Squash

Massive congratulations to both our Squash teams that competed in “The Ian Wright Cup” and the “NW Kent Winter League 2023/24 Divisions 4 and 5”

Maidstone 1

With 12 wins and just 4 loses over the season Maidstone 1 finished top of Division 4 beating the runners up “Blackheath 1” twice on the way to becoming division 4 champions

Not being content with being division 4 champions Maidstone 1 was out to make a statement of intent by once again beating Blackheath 1 in the 1st round of this knock-out cup, once passed that first hurdle the team went on to the final beating Tunbridge Well SRC 3-1 to secure the converted Ian Wright Trophy

Maidstone 2

Again a very impressive season by the team, Maidstone 2 also had 12 wins but with 6 losses meant they just missed out on the 2nd spot in the league by 5 points, but with the losses were well short of catching “Waterfront 2” who romped away with being Division 5 champions.

Many thanks to all the Team players that represented MSC over the 2023/24 season, with everyone playing their part in putting Maidstone Squash Club back where it truly belongs.
