Box Squash Leagues

Just a reminder that the box leagues finish this Sunday 21st June, please record your match results on both the paper leagues posted on the notice board outside the courts as well as the league app that you can access through the my courts web page.

The new summer league session will go live and be posted on the notice board Monday 29th June and run right the way through to August 30th that’s 8 weeks to get your games played during the Summer / School Holiday Period.

Maidstone Squash Club Champion 2026

We are looking to re-instate the annual Club Champion Competition later this year (October) with every club member eligible to play regardless of their squash ability or squash levels, we will be looking to have as many members play in this event as possible from our Social players to Box League players to Team Players …….we want you all to enter.

We will fix a date in the next couple of weeks so that it won’t come as a surprise and you all can save the date.

More information will be posted once the fine details have been agreed, past Club Champions Include.

This is the fantastic trophy that will be presented to the overall winner in October 2026 and getting thier name on the trophy that include Josh Masters (4 times) John Hogwood and Nick Peel

Friday Night Club Night update

During the same summer school holiday period and box leagues (29th June to 30th August) I will be reducing the number of club nights I will be attending / running on a Friday night, this is due to the falling numbers of players turning up overall (just 4-6 players last week), as well as coming into the summer months with members / players getting into the Football World Cup, Wimbledon, British F1 GP, Commonwealth Games, British Golf Open, Test Match Cricket and the standard must have BBQ and Beer Sessions during this same time frame, and not to mention that I can also have a bit of a break during the warmer months too.

The Fridays that I will be running club night as previous are as follows

19th June,…3rd July,…17th July,…31st July,…14th August,…28th August

If any Member wishes to fill in the missing Fridays I am not running, then please let me know so that I can make the necessary arrangement and inform the members in future newsletters.

Courts available from 5.20pm continuing until late, just turn up, Play and Socialise with other likeminded club players.

There will be a 8 or 10 minute time limited to each pair of players on court, straight into warming up and then playing with no limit on where the score ends up, once the 8 or 10 minutes has been reached the alarm will sound and the next 2 players can go on court to play their 8 or 10 minutes.

A £2 light fee will be charged for all players attending regardless of how many games they play
