New Door Entry System

The new door entry system has been successfully installed, access to the club remains unchanged, the new system will go live in the near future and tie in with the renewal of your club membership

The Club T shirt is now available to purchase from Hurty Bar for £15, these will be available in S, M, L, and XL if you’re not sure of the size you require, samples are available to view and try before you buy from Hurtys Bar, available NOW….!!

Private function

The club will be used for a private function on Saturday 19th October all squash will be suspended from 5.30pm on that day

Club Quiz night

Back by popular demand, The MSC Quiz night is happening on the 26th Oct, once again we will have the outrageous, qwerky, funny and entertaining Mr Ben Crozier as our quiz master.

Box League scoring system

The scoring system is that a player will get 1 point for turning up to play, and the wining player will get an extra point for winning the match.

Example

Player 1 V Player 2, ……………………………….Player 1 beats Player 2, 3-0, the score should be recorded as a 5-1 win to player 1 (1 point per game won, 1 point to the player winning the match and 1 point to both players for turning up)

Player 1 V Player 2 ………………………………..Player 1 loses to player 2 2-3, the score should be recorded as 5-3 win to player 2 (1 point per game won, 1 point to the player winning the match and 1 point to both players for turning up)

If a player fails to turn up at the time and date arranged it will be classed as a “walk over” to the player that has turned up at the club to play the match and will be rewarded the win, a 5-0 score should be recorded

2 Bonus points will be awarded to any player playing all his games.

Friday night is club night

Courts available from 5.20pm continuing until late, just turn up, Play and Socialise with other likeminded club players.

There will be a 10-minute time limited to each pair of players on court, straight into warming up and then playing with no limit on where the score ends up, once the 10 minutes has been reached the alarm will sound and the next 2 players can go on court to play there 10 minutes.

A £2 light fee will be charged for all players attending regardless of how many games they play

Hot Food on club night will be temporary suspended for the summer period it will return in late September – October (The mouthy chef will be in OZ for his annual “Walkabout”)
