Club Parking

I haven’t mentioned it for a while as we have all been behaving, but, we have started to slip back into our old ways……So I would like to remind you all to be considerate to other club members by parking in the back carpark spaces first (nearest to the club building) so that we can all use the carpark, if you are not in the club (gone shopping) then please leave a note on your dashboard with a contact number so that you can be contacted in the event that you need to move your car.

Squash Box Leagues

The new Box leagues will go live this Friday 17th, with the addition of new members and returning players the leagues are looking very competitive. We now have 5 box leagues with a total of 26 players entered, that’s fantastic support for the box leagues and I thank you all for being involved and playing your games.
That said I know that there are new members that have shown an interest but have yet to commit to the boxes, so who knows we could have even more boxes next month making the leagues even more competitive.

Friday Night is Club Night

As usual the club night will start at 5.30pm until late playing a quick-fire game of first to 15 (American scoring) then rotating against other club players. A £2 light fee will be charged for all players attending.

You are being spoilt for choice this week as the food this week will be ”Vegetarian Bang Bang Sausage Surprise, Rice and Pita bread” or “Red Thai Chicken Curry, Rice and Naan Bread” or “Chicken Jalfrezi, Rice and Naan Bread” With prices held at £6 which includes a drink this is proving very popular, so if you know that you want a meal then could you please let me know so that you are not disappointed on the night

Racket ball Club Night

This week we have a start time of 6.40pm on Thursday 16th March in the hope that more members will take the opportunity to attend this club night. We will be running the racket ball club night for a further 6 weeks at this time of 6.40pm.
Run the same as the squash club night where a £2 light fee will be charged to ALL players playing, we hope that even more regular players and new to Racket Ball players turn up so that we can get a good social vibe going to promote Racket Ball within the Club. We have spare rackets behind the bar that can be used during Club Night so there is no excuse for not giving it a go and having a very enjoyable evening.

Up and Coming Events

AGM

The club will hold its annual AGM on Monday 24th April @ 7.30pm in the club bar area. Everyone is invited to attend I hope we get as many of the Club Members as possible to attend to have their say, on how the club is run and how they would like to see the club run going forward into 2023/24.
Notice of the AGM will be posted on all notice boards around the club very soon

Club Events

We will shortly be announcing a date and times for two social evenings held in the club bar one with Live music from Mr Dyce's "Rhythm and Blues" band as well as a "Horse racing night" both will be held on a Saturday evening in the coming weeks.
