Maidstone Squash Club 'Closed Competition 2018'

To all Members,

I’m pleased to announce that the Maidstone Squash Club Closed Competition will take place on 22nd September 2018 , it is open to all members of all abilities. There will be regular updates for everyone, but for now, I just want to give you an overview.

Competition outline

Start at 1pm - Draw to be made at 12.45pm
All players will play at least 4 matches
Each match will be ‘Best of 3’
The finals will be ‘Best of 5’
Each game will be American scoring to 11
After the first round, the players will be grouped into the ‘Main Club Championship’ or the ‘Plate Competition’
Every player will play in their own final against a player of similar ability
Every player will get a squash related prize
All final winners will get an additional prize
The winner of the Plate Final will get a further additional prize (eg Squash bag)
The winner of the Main Competition will also win a squash related prize plus they will be awarded the Winners Cup which will subsequently have their name engraved on it

We also have some special prizes which we will be announcing once we finalise them

£10 entry fee - (This is non-refundable) (No court fees to be paid)
All money to go to the purchase of the prizes
Put this date in your diary, and bring your friends & family along to support the competition.
Entry to watch the competition is free
The bar will be open and will be serving food
