As you all would have seen from a previous newsletter that MSC have made Mike and Angela Grimbly, and Alec Dolphin Life Time Honorary Members of Maidstone Squash Club and on behalf of all our members old and new, I would like to say a big “Thank You” for all that they have done for MSC over the years.
Ride with a Veteran - Annual Cycle Ride 2023 Kent to Ypres (Belgium)
Friday 14th July 3 MSC members, Simon Courtney, Simon Tiffill and Brendan Touhey (MBE) are taking part in the “Ride with a Veteran” - Annual Cycle Ride 2023 Kent to Ypres (Belgium) we wish them all the best for this 200km challenge for a very worthy charity if you would like to donate to this charity please scan the QR code on the posters that are on the MSC notice boards.
Friday Night is Club Night
As usual the club night will start at 5.30pm until late playing a quick-fire game of first to 15 (American scoring) then rotating against other club players. A £2 light fee will be charged for all players attending
Food this week will be loosely “Italian Themed”
“Lasagne + Garlic Bread followed by Tiramisu” and a celebratory shot or shots of Limoncello (Hurty’s 1st year running the bar, squash box leagues and club night)
For any Vegetarians attending club night let me know if you would like anything from the below choice (these will also come with the Tiramisu and Limoncello shot or shots)
“5 Bean Chilli + Rice + Tortilla wrap”
“Cheese and Potato topped Quorn Mince + Vegetable Pie” (only 2 available)
Bar opening times w/c 10th
Tuesday 5.30pm until late
Wednesday 5.30pm until late
Thursday 5.30pm until late
Friday 3pm until late (club night)
