Fun Mixed Ability Team Squash Competition

We are looking at holding another internal fun squash competition to officially christen the newly refurbished squash courts. The competition will be along the same lines as we held for the 90th Birthday celebrations, which consisted of 4 Mixed Ability Teams consisting of Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds and Spades playing to a of 21 (poker style), this format was very well received by the 30+ players that entered last September but it is hope that we will have even more of you enter regardless of your ability, this is designed to be a fun event that everyone enjoys,

We will be looking to have food available on the day and it goes without saying that the bar will be open all day.

The provisional date for this competition is Saturday May 16th from 1pm (TBC)

Please let me know if you would like to participate so we can get a bit of idea of potential numbers

Courts available from 5.20pm continuing until late, just turn up, Play and Socialise with other likeminded club players.

There will be a 8 or 10 minute time limited to each pair of players on court, straight into warming up and then playing with no limit on where the score ends up, once the 8 or 10 minutes has been reached the alarm will sound and the next 2 players can go on court to play their 8 or 10 minutes.

A £2 light fee will be charged for all players attending regardless of how many games they play
