7 Days to go!!! Prizes & Format

Hi Everyone,

With just 7 days to go, I wanted to share with you the prizes that will be won by the players next week.

Who will win this, the ' Maidstone Squash Club Championship Cup '? Previous winners include Nick Peel, Graham Appleby, and Josh Masters . Josh Masters is currently ranked 53rd in the World and has just recently won the World University Squash Championship, so there is a high degree of quality history attached to this cup. I have broken the 16 players down into 4 Prize Groups. The winner of each Prize Group will win one of these...

So there is a lot to look forward to for everyone, plus some great games, and no court fees!!!

Competition Format

There will be 3 rounds, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Finals. All players will play in each round . The Quarter-Finals & the Semi-Finals will be best of 3 games. The Finals will be best of 5 games. All scoring will be PAR to 11 points.

Take care to stay hydrated throughout the day, and make sure you warm up before each match, warm down after each match, and stay stretched between your matches. There will be food on sale in the bar so you can keep your energy levels up.

Please bring your friends & family to enhance the atmosphere during the competition and to show everyone what a great club we have. Once again, good luck to you all, and next Friday I will email you the Quarter-Finals Matches.

The first matches will be at 1pm, so please arrive in plenty of time. I would like to take a group photo of all players at the beginning of the day, so it would be helpful if everyone was at the club by 12.45pm at the latest.
